Start a new game of Football Mogul by selecting which team
you want to manage. Football Mogul includes the real professional
players and their stats, for extra realism! You can manage
your favorite team, or for an extra challenge choose to manage
a small market team with fewer financial resources.
Try out other game options, too. Shuffle the players around
the league to redistribute the talent. Or use all new players,
created randomly, so that you can play with a whole new crop
of stars. You can equalize the cities so that no team has
a built-in advantage, play in Simulation Mode, to most accurately
reflect real life, and even conduct a fantasy draft, matching
wits with the other teams to build a dynasty.

Use the Team Schedule screen to see how your club has been
performing, and what you can expect in the future.
Look back at the games you have already completed to find
out how to improve your team. Look at any one of 16 different
team stats, to find out what went right and what was a disaster.
Find out who your boys will be up against in the coming weeks.
Are there any games that you are confident you can win? When
is the bye week, when you can rest your players and let their
injuries heal?

Football Mogul's new simulation engine gives you complete control over the action whenever you want it.
The one-click play-calling interface shows you at-a-glance exactly which formation and which players are involved in each package, so you can best exploit mismatches against each opponent.
Wind, rain, snow, heat and cold also affect the outcome of each play.

Football Mogul's new Play-By-Play feature describes the play as it unfolds. The Game Screen gives you complete detail on how your play selection and personnel stacks up against the opposition, with key players highlighted on each play.
Game totals are constantly updated, and a full play-by-play game recap is available from the menu bar.

After each week's games have been played, look over the results to see how your team fared, and how the other teams performed in their matchups.
Find out which players had notable games, and see what cumulative stats each team built up.

As the season progresses, keep an eye on the standings screen
to see how your team is doing. You can advance the season
by a week, a month, a half-season, or an entire season at
a time. This lets you decide how closely you want to manage
your team.

Find out which players are leading the leagues in any of
30 different statistics from Pass Yards to Completion % to
Field Goals. Look at stats for the current year, the previous
year, or the entire career of the active players. You can
also choose to search through one or both leagues, to help
you find the best players.
After you have found out who is the best in the game, then
decide whether you want to make a trade for one of the top
performers.

Scouting reports are an invaluable resource for any General
Manager. Use the reports to keep track of the players on your
team and on competing teams. See their statistics from previous
years, and get a report from your scouting staff with the
inside scoop on each player’s strengths and weaknesses.

Put your mark on the team! Think your team needs a new Wide
Receiver? Want to trade away your Quarterback before his contract
expires? The trade screen puts you in command. Negotiate with
other teams to build the best roster you can afford.
Nothing beats the feeling of completing a complex trade that
can take you to the Super Bowl!

Do you have a player on your team that you no longer need?
With the new Trading Block feature you can find out just what
you can get for a him. Poll all the other teams at once, and
open negotiations with the GM that makes you the best offer.

Your football team is a business. And like any other business,
it has to turn a profit or risk going bankrupt. As General
Manager, you control the money you bring in through selling
tickets, concessions, and TV broadcast rights. You also control
the money you spend on player salaries, scouting, and your
medical staff. Manage your finances well, and your team will
turn a tidy profit. But manage your finances poorly, and you
may find yourself out of a job!

The entire regular season is just a prelude to the single-elimination excitement that is playoff football. Call the wrong play and you're ended home until training camp.
Play through the postseason week by week, and watch as one
team after another is eliminated from contention. Choose every play, or let Football Mogul handle the calls.

After each season, when the Championship Trophy is safely
locked away in your team's trophy case, it is time to compete
in the annual College Draft.
As each round of the draft goes by, wait for your turn to
choose from the available crop of new recruits. Analyze your
team's weaknesses, look over the remaining college players,
and decide which one will be the best fit to bring your team
victory in the coming years.
